Horizon Reports

The Horizon Reports are published by the New Media Consortium and the Marcus Institute for Digital Education in the Arts.

These US-based publications are part of a wider project which identifies and describes emerging technologies that will impact informal and formal education.

The Museum Editions of the NMC Horizon Reports examines emerging technologies for their potential impact on and use in education and interpretation within the museum environment.

The Horizons Reports are well-respected within the education and cultural industries globally and are used by large institutions for planning, resource allocation discussions and program development.

There was no Museum Edition published in 2014.
