Museums and the Sustainable Development Goals
How can museums help put the world on a path to a sustainable future, through working to support the Sustainable Development Goals?
This guide is intended to help empower museums (small, large and of any kind, anywhere), museum workers, museum networks and their partners to contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs for short).
The SDGs are the most ambitious global programme ever, addressing a wide range of social and environmental challenges in order to set the world on a path to a sustainable future by 2030.
This guide was developed Curating Tomorrow, a consultancy for museums and the heritage sector helping them draw on their unique resources to enhance their contribution to society and the natural environment the Sustainable Development Goals, climate action and nature conservation.
