Public Programs Officer

As we transform and expand Newcastle Art Gallery, an exciting opportunity exists to join our evolving team. City of Newcastle is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Public Programs Officer to join the Newcastle Art Gallery team in a newly created role.

As a key role in Newcastle Art Gallery’s expanded Audience Team, the Public Programs Officer will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality public programs and events that contribute to the Art Gallery’s reputation as a leader in the region.

This position will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of public programs and events, including the development of promotional strategies and collateral to support these programs. You will have strong local and national networks to produce programming that is ambitious and engages broad and diverse audiences.
