Powerhouse is undergoing a major transformation in its history. As we reimagine what a museum can be, we are looking for an exceptional Collection Curator to help shape the future of the Powerhouse Collection.

This is not a traditional curatorial role. It is an opportunity to influence how one of Australia’s most important collections grows, evolves and connects with contemporary audiences, industry and researchers. You will play a leading role in identifying and acquiring objects and digital material that reflect the creativity, innovation and cultural significance of applied arts while ensuring the collection remains relevant for generations to come.

Working collaboratively across curatorial, collections, exhibitions, research and public programs, you’ll help deliver a strategic collection that reflects the breadth of design, technology and creative practice that defines Powerhouse.
