Protocols for reproducing NSW Aboriginal cultural material
M&G NSW acknowledges NSW Aboriginal protocols in the display of material. In accordance with policy documents and guidelines, advice is sought from relevant communities and specialists in the display of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander material.
M&G NSW acknowledges that collections of material culture and stories form part of the cultural traditions of NSW Aboriginal communities, and therefore must take into account the views of these communities in matters relating to the collection, care and display of the item, and who may access them.

All material on the Museums & Galleries of NSW (M&G NSW) website is provided in good faith. It is derived from sources believed to be accurate and current as at the date of publication. Your use of the M&G NSW website is at your sole risk. We always destroy or de-identify information the organisation no longer requires. We always ensure the protection of personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
External access to personal information
M&G NSW will provide any individual or organisation access to their personal information held by our organisation. We will take appropriate steps to correct and update personal information when requested by an individual.
