Australian Golf Heritage Museum

The Australian Golf Heritage Museum is the only dedicated golf museum on the Australian mainland and our collection boasts everything from golf clubs and balls to clothes, photographs and film. Relocated to new premises within Strathfield Golf Club, our displays include:

  • Early Golf: featuring two Tom Morris long nose clubs
  • Having a Ball: a quick history of the golf ball
  • Kel Nagle: The Gentleman of Golf
  • Our Open:  showcasing items from Australian Open winners. Our Open includes are a Christmas card signed by Ivo Whitton, clubs used by Greg Chalmers and Ossie Pickworth in their wins and the trophy presented to 1930 Open champion Frank Eyre. You can also see a golf pinball machine ‘Little Pro’ donated by the Australian champion golfer Craig Parry.

Come to Strathfield and pop in for a visit. You can also see us at work putting together a display on golf professionals and the PGA.
