New round of Arts and Cultural Projects funding is open for entries

Arts and Cultural Projects

Open to individual artists, arts and cultural workers, partnerships and organisations, the Arts and Cultural Projects (Round 2) funding supports professional projects at any stage of the creative process, with the aim of delivering a more vibrant and accessible arts and cultural sector in NSW.

Grants of up to $60,000 are available for projects delivered within 12 months or up to $75,000 for projects delivered within 24 months. All projects must start after 31 May 2019.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer this new round to deliver more opportunities for creativity across NSW and犀利士
strengthen professional arts and cultural development in the small-to-medium arts and cultural sector,” Acting Create NSW Executive Director for Investment and Engagement, Grainne Brunsdon said.

“This funding can be used for a wide range of opportunities including creative development, administrative support, the activation of new arts and cultural spaces as well as the commission of professional artists, to name but a few. Our team at Create NSW are happy to help applicants with their submissions – and especially encourage those who have never applied before to get in touch,” she said.

Create NSW is committed to supporting increased participation in the industry of people from underrepresented groups including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with disability, LGBTQI people, people from Western Sydney and people from regional NSW.

Applications opened on Monday 25 February 2019 and close at midnight Monday 8 April 2019.
