New Director for ACP

Now in their 40th year, the Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) has been at the forefront of photographic discourse and practice for some time. This week the Board of the Australian Centre for Photography announced the appointment of Suzanne Buljan as their new Director. Suzanne is taking up the reins with ACP anticipating an exciting new year delivering an inspiring exhibition program and a comprehensive range of photographic courses, workshops, events and public programs. 

Suzanne is a practicing artist in Photomedia installation and holds a Master of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts (Photomedia) from the College of Fine Art (UNSW). Suzanne specialises in both digital and analogue photography and has exhibited nationally. She has extensive experience as a lecturer in Digital Media, Film, Photomedia and Communications having built a significant reputation at key educational institutions including the College of Fine Arts, University of Technology Sydney, Metro Screen and Tainan National College of the Arts, AFTRS and the Australian Centre for Photography.
Suzanne has previously held the positions of Creative Director, Head of Design and Design Manager, as well as establishing a long list of television and film credentials as designer and photographer, and includes The Sapphires, Superman Returns, The Knowing, Burning Man, Camp, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions. She also has an extensive list of TV advertising credits working on brand campaigns for Qantas, Budweiser, Pure Blonde, CUB, Gatorade, Allianz and Capital One.
This is an exciting time for the Australian Centre for Photography, as they envision a successful year moving forward with Suzanne at the helm.
