Fairfield City Museum & Gallery are seeking expressions of interest for the 2015 Artist in Residence program. The successful artist will receive $5,000 towards artist fees and materials as well as a creative space to produce new work. The residency will take place between September 2015 and February 2016 and will culminate in a 12 week exhibition in the Stein Gallery in May 2016.

Artists should consider proposals for work based on the museum & gallery’s unique social history collection, the site or the multicultural makeup of Fairfield City. Proposals from innovative artists experimenting with artistic boundaries are welcomed.

Expressions of interest must include an artist’s CV and a brief proposal of the intended work and close Froday 27 March 2015.
