Project – Wanda Surf Life Saving Club Artefacts & Timelines (Pro Bono / Volunteer)
This is a unique opportunity to contribute, preserve & showcase 80 years of Wanda SLSC history for future generations. As part of celebrating 80 years, WSLSC is seeking EOI from an enthusiastic & organised project support person to assist with the design & development of artefacts, audio-visual displays, historical timelines & key interpretive elements for the new WSLSC fit-out. This project-based opportunity will be undertaken on a pro bono basis, with reasonable project-related expenses able to be covered by agreement. The role will work closely with lifesaving historians, community stakeholders and designers.
The successful applicant will help present WSLSC cultural & historical significance through curated artefact interpretation & thematic timelines. They will play an important part in shaping how the WSLSC rich heritage is understood & experienced by members, visitors & the broader community. This opportunity is ideal for someone with an interest in history, heritage interpretation, museum or gallery project support, or community-led design.
