Digital Content Producer
About the Project
As the Australian Museum approaches its 200th anniversary in 2027, we are undertaking a major review and refresh of our digital content to ensure our online presence reflects the significance of this milestone. This project will focus on auditing and enhancing content across the Museum’s flagship website to ensure it is engaging, accessible and aligned with current digital standards.
About the Role
Working within the Digital team, this fixed-term project role will contribute to strengthening the Australian Museum’s digital experience by improving the quality, discoverability and focus of our online content. The project will involve close collaboration with subject matter experts across the museum to identify opportunities to update existing material, create new content, and ensure our digital storytelling reflects the breadth of the AM’s collections, research and educational outreach.
You will assist with auditing, updating and publishing website content, while connecting with experts to ensure information is accurate, relevant and user-focused. You will also support the day-to-day publishing of website content and contribute to digital initiatives that enhance the AM’s online experience.
This role offers the opportunity to build practical experience in web publishing, content optimisation and digital project support while contributing to a significant milestone for the Australian Museum.
