Create NSW

Create NSW is the NSW Government’s arts policy and funding body.
Create NSW is the NSW Government’s new arts and cultural driver, which brings together arts, screen and culture functions in a new integrated entity. Create NSW was established on 1 April 2017, and has responsibility for many of the functions previously undertaken by Arts NSW and Screen NSW.
The new entity forms part of the Arts & Culture Division within the Department of Planning and Environment, and is responsible for furthering Government’s vision for NSW to be known for its bold and exciting arts and culture that engages the community and reflects the state’s rich diversity.
Create NSW invests in the success and future of arts, screen and culture in NSW through infrastructure and funding programs. For information on screen funding and incentives or filming in NSW, please visit the Screen NSW website.
We are committed to growing, empowering and strengthening the arts, screen and culture sectors in NSW, to embed arts in the everyday and deliver new, innovative and exciting arts and cultural services and experiences for the people of NSW.
Arts Funding
The Arts Funding Program offers a range of opportunities that support artists and arts and cultural organisations in NSW.
