Interview - Susi Muddiman, Director, Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre

The second in our series of interviews with regional and public gallery directors. In-between her duties as host at the recent Regional Gallery at the Regional & Public Galleries Conference, Susi Muddiman kindly gave us her time to answer a few questions.

Susi Muddiman completed a BA at University of Queensland and a Diploma in Australian Studies, specialising in Australian Art. During her studies she was an Acting Curator at the Queensland Museum. Other positions include those of Arts Curator at USQ, and Assistant Curator at QUT. She has also enjoyed Directorships of Grafton Regional Gallery and Wagga Wagga Art Gallery before re-locating to Tweed Regional Gallery in 2007.

Museums & Galleries of NSW helps small-medium museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres create exciting experiences for visitors and, through this, thriving local NSW communities. We don't run museums, galleries and cultural centres but we care about those who do. We develop their skills, connect them with others in the industry, provide funding, point visitors their way, and give them access to ground-breaking exhibitions.

Museums & Galleries of NSW is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.

Museums & Galleries of NSW
(M&G NSW) provides programs and services improving the visitor experience in small to medium museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres across NSW.
