Education and Engagement Officer
The BAMM Education and Engagement Officer is responsible for developing and delivering BAMM’s education and outreach program.
To be successful in this role the applicant must have visual arts and education experience and a passion for designing innovative learning programs.
As the BAMM Education and Engagement Officer you’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and coordinating resources and education experiences that complement BAMM’s collection and programs across all ages with an emphasis on school engagement
- Developing and delivering BAMM’s regional schools outreach program – Art on Track
- Co-ordinating BAMM’s after school and community workshop program
- Working with the Director to apply for and acquit grants and raise money for BAMM’s Education and Engagement Programs.
- Writing copy promoting BAMM’s education and community engagement programs and events
- Representing and promoting BAMM to external education bodies, committees, and individuals.
- Overseeing education program budgets and supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes
BAMM is looking for an employee to join a small creative team of people who is:
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and can demonstrate a positive work ethic;
- Experienced problem solver and pays attention to detail;
- Able to engage with a broad spectrum of the general public;
- Professional in both conduct, presentation and behaviour.
This is a permanent part-time role, 2 days per week, with the view to expand to 4 days per week. The role is based in Moree, NSW.
