Assistant Programs Producer
About the role
Assist in the development, and delivery of engaging public programs and interpretive content to support the Art Gallery’s strategic plan of connecting with existing and potential audiences more effectively.

What technical / soft skills you require
- Experience in coordinating projects or programs, working collaboratively within a team, contributing ideas and helping others to solve problems.
- Strong administration skills, including planning projects, logging statistics, paying invoices, writing and editing promotional copy for web pages and EDMs.
Targeted questions
- The purpose of the role is to support diverse audiences through creative and effective program experiences. Provide an example of when you supported an artistic program for a particular audience group, explaining your process and outcome. (maximum of 300 words)
- This position maintains diverse administrative responsibilities and can be faced with challenging time constraints. Please provide an example of a project or program where you were required to manage conflicting tasks that involved a number of stakeholders within a gallery/museum environment. (300 word limit)
Part of the assessment process may include additional online capability testing, skills testing or work samples in accordance with the new Government Sector Employment Act 2013, therefore you may be contacted to participate.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a National Police Records Check.
