This workshop is designed for anyone involved in preparing exhibition labels for a small museum or gallery.

How much should I write? What should I include? How can I cut this back? What size font should I use? This workshop will answer all these questions, and more.

The event will be facilitated by Powerhouse editors Sally Rose and Katrina O’Brien who will share their knowledge and insights into preparing labels for exhibitions and displays. The facilitators will provide practical examples, exercises and take-home notes.

This event is designed for staff and volunteers working in smaller museums and the collecting sector. The session will conclude with a 1-hour tour, led by a museum registrar, of one of our storage areas. Bookings essential, a light lunch is included.
