In partnership with Ortelia Interactive and Wezit France, Museum & Galleries of NSW is presenting a one day introductory workshop for understanding and using digital engagement tools in the museum, gallery and collections sector.
Who should attend this workshop?
Gallery and museum professionals working in audience engagement and exhibition development such as directors, curators, marketing and engagement managers and exhibition designers. Anyone planning to use digital technologies to enhance the galley or museum experience.
What does the workshop address?
There are a broad range of opportunities for audience and community engagement through the creation of interactive story-telling, immersive environments and broader transmedia experiences. This workshop will provide an overview of various digital engagement tools and technologies available and focus on ways to manage and better understand digital projects, in order to maximise audience engagement outcomes.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss project specific ideas with industry experts.
This is the first time this workshop has been run for the arts and cultural sector and we are excited by the possibilities it provides.
