As we transform and expand Newcastle Art Gallery, an exciting opportunity exists to join our evolving team. City of Newcastle is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Curatorial Officer (Collections) to join the Newcastle Art Gallery team in a newly created role.

As a member of the Art Gallery’s expanded Curatorial and Exhibitions Team, the Curatorial Officer (Collections) will play a significant role in the development and delivery of our ambitious artistic program, including supporting collection displays, temporary exhibitions, artist commissions and offsite projects. Under the direction of the Curatorial Lead, this role is a key contributor to the curatorial and collections programs, requiring a creative and rigorous curatorial approach to long term display and temporary exhibition development, as well as new acquisition coordination.
