Gooloogong Historical Society


Gooloogong is a small village of 466 people near the Lachlan River on the Lachlan Valley Way, between Forbes (57 km north-west) and Cowra (34 km south-east).

The museum has displays about local history focusing on agricultural history of the region.

The musuem will be open on Anzac Day from 12noon – 2pm. Drop in and look at the exhibition on the Land Army.

The Historical Society rooms will be open on the second Sunday of each month from 10am to 1pm. The Society meets on the first Tuesday of the month.
