A significant part of the Arthur & Yvonne Boyd gift of Bundanon to the people of Australia in March 1993 was an extensive art collection. This donation was the culmination of considerable effort and several years work by Arthur to build up a collection representing the family.

The Bundanon Art Collection comprises over 3,600 items with more than 1,200 works by Arthur Boyd, another 1,200 works representing five generations of the Boyd family dynasty and a number of works by Arthur Boyd's contemporaries, such as Sir Sidney Nolan, John Perceval, Joy Hester and Charles Blackman. Donations from past artists in residence also form a significant part of the Collection.

The 1866 Bundanon Homestead and other buildings on the properties are heritage listed.

Take a guided tour of the Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd’s Studio or enjoy wandering access with our informative room notes. Our friendly and knowledgeable guides are on hand to answer all your questions.

Browse through the gift shop and follow up with a bush walk to the natural amphitheatre or to the Shoalhaven River.

It is suggested that you enter the property between 10.30-1pm and depart between 1.30-4pm due to the single lane access road.

Museums & Galleries of NSW helps small-medium museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres create exciting experiences for visitors and, through this, thriving local NSW communities. We don't run museums, galleries and cultural centres but we care about those who do. We develop their skills, connect them with others in the industry, provide funding, point visitors their way, and give them access to ground-breaking exhibitions.

Museums & Galleries of NSW is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
