The Bruce Langford Visitor Centre at the Broken Hill Base of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is an interactive museum that traces the history of the RFDS, including its doctors, pilots and nurses.

Uniquely located within a working RFDS base and airport, visitors can also tour the base, view the aircraft in the hangar, explore the Mantle of Safety Museum, and watch a film in the brand new 44 seat theatre.

All proceeds from admissions and merchandise sales go towards the purchase of new aircraft and vital medical equipment.

Museums & Galleries of NSW helps small-medium museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres create exciting experiences for visitors and, through this, thriving local NSW communities. We don't run museums, galleries and cultural centres but we care about those who do. We develop their skills, connect them with others in the industry, provide funding, point visitors their way, and give them access to ground-breaking exhibitions.

Museums & Galleries of NSW is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
