Profile
Elizabeth Arifien is a creative access, public engagement and neurodivergent inclusion consultant working across museums, galleries, performing arts and interdisciplinary cultural practice.
Her expertise includes accessible programme design, neuroinclusive communication, participatory and sensory-led engagement, research and evaluation, organisational development, artist mentoring and digital/multimedia practice.
Through her previous and current companies (Move Beyond Words CIC, Creative Dance London and The ERA Studio,) Elizabeth has developed research, accessibility tools, workshops, public programmes and participatory experiences with organisations including the Royal Opera House, V&A, British Dyslexia Association, The Space, Rambert School and One Dance UK.
Her approach combines lived experience, embodied research and creative practice to help cultural organisations create more accessible, engaging and responsive experiences for artists, audiences and communities.

Interdisciplinary neurodivergent-led project combining movement, film, immersive sound, sensory participation and responsive technology across performance, screen and gallery contexts.
Chapter Chasing Chapter — AUSTI. Dance & Physical Theatre / Illawarra Performing Arts Centre | 2024
Choreographic commission developed through an AUSTI residency and presented at Illawarra Performing Arts Centre, exploring isolation, connection, support and collective experience.

Research and professional-development resource supporting teachers to create more accessible, sensory-aware and neuroinclusive learning environments.
Neurodiversity in the Studio — Rambert School x One Dance UK | 2023–2024
Research into neurodivergent experience in professional dance training, focusing on communication, access, learning processes and inclusive creative practice.
Creative Dance London Community Research & Evaluation — Creative Dance London / University of Greenwich | 2021–2024
Practice-based research and evaluation developed through grassroots community programmes, including older-adult and intergenerational participation, monitoring, feedback systems and case studies.
