Georgia Rouette is a curator, museum and heritage specialist and cultural consultant with more than 28 years’ experience across museums, galleries, heritage and the broader cultural sector. Through Cultural Matters, she works with organisations to develop engaging exhibitions, interpretation, collections-based projects and cultural programs that connect people with stories, places and collections.
Her expertise includes curatorial research and development, exhibition development, museum and heritage interpretation, collections, strategic planning, audience and community engagement, interpretive writing and editing, and project management. Georgia has worked with museums, galleries, historical organisations, local government, artists and communities, taking projects from initial research and concept development through to implementation.
Her approach combines strong curatorial and museum knowledge with practical delivery, collaboration and accessible storytelling, creating thoughtful projects that bring collections, histories and cultural stories to life.
