Museum Customer Service Officer

City of Newcastle (CN) currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaging Museum Customer Service Officer to join our team in this permanent, part-time role working 22.5 hours per week Friday to Sunday.
As Museum Customer Service Officer, you will provide an exceptional customer service experience as the first point of contact for visitors, delivering quality interactions and advice across a variety of channels whilst always projecting a positive image of Newcastle Museum with a welcoming manner.
This role undertakes all duties and responsibilities associated with being a Shift Supervisor, for example opening up, locking up, cash management and reconciliation of the POS, plus supervision and direction of casual team members on shift. You will be responsible for the safety of visitors, cultural collections, exhibitions and the physical site.
