Gallery Visitor Services Officer

We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our team in a diverse role that combines customer service, arts administration, event coordination, technical support, and curatorial assistance. Working with peers and patrons this role supports and delivers a variety of cultural experiences within our facilities.

You will provide high-quality customer and visitor services, supporting the daily operations of Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie, yapang (MAC yapang) and Multi Arts Pavilion (MAP mima), primarily across weekends in our galleries, workshops and public programs. As the face of our galleries front of house operations, you will warmly welcome visitors and professionally handle inquiries. Leveraging your production skills, you will be the point of contact for events and troubleshooting in our projection space at MAP mima, ensuring smooth operations. Known internally as Cultural Experiences officer you will work as part of the Arts, Culture and Tourism department, collaborating with and supporting operations at other venues where required.
