The Museum of Art and Culture Lake Macquarie, yapang (MAC yapang) is uniquely positioned within a 5-hectare Sculpture Park on the shore of Lake Macquarie (Awabakal Country). The award-winning art gallery has a 500sqm exhibition space and growing collection with an onsite cafe and retail shop.

The MAC yapang Curator and Operations Coordinator is responsible for leading the curation of an engaging exhibition program and the day-to-day operations of a contemporary public art museum. This position will create and deliver a wide range of engaging contemporary art exhibitions. These exhibitions will be developed collaboratively and in consultation with the MAC yapang Aboriginal Reference Group. The program will include touring, inhouse curated, external curated, collection and commissioned exhibitions.
