Tweed Regional Museum
We acknowledge the Tweed Bundjalung people as the traditional custodians of the land on which the Museum sits, and recognise and respect continuing connection to Country.
In all that we do here at Tweed Regional Museum, we aim to collect and share the stories of our community.
Our beautiful Museum – a mix of heritage architecture and contemporary interpretations – is home to extraordinary cultural experiences with a year-round program of innovative exhibitions, exciting events, engaging programs and learning experiences.
The Museum offers the award-winning Land | Life | Culture exhibition, introducing visitors to the unique natural and cultural heritage of the Tweed. The exhibition features important Indigenous cultural knowledge associated with key locations around the Tweed, contributed by members of the local Aboriginal community, as well as information on Tweed’s biodiversity, using interactive components and case study specimens.
Land | Life | Culture is one of many permanent displays within the Museum, which are complemented by a vibrant temporary exhibition program.
