Gallery Administrator (Part-Time/Full-Time)
Redbase Art Gallery is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Gallery Administrator to join our team in Gadigal/Sydney. This dynamic, on-site role involves working closely with a small team to deliver exhibitions, public programs, art fairs, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide an exceptional experience for all visitors.
– Maintain and optimise systems for maximum efficiency, including both digital and physical organisation of files, artworks, office, and gallery supplies.
– Manage and update the inventory of artworks.
– Liaise with artists, curators, educators, and other key stakeholders.
– Handle communication via email, phone, Zoom, and in-person meetings.
– Oversee gallery operations related to exhibitions, public programs, venue hire, and community events.
– Assist in the planning, building, and management of exhibitions, art fair participation, and collaborative art events.
– Coordinate and manage venue hire opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
– Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
– Previous experience in the art or cultural sector.
– Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to implement efficient organisational systems.
– Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
– Fluency in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.

Tuesday – Friday: 11:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 12:00 – 17:00
