Blak Circle Project Officer

Blak Circle is a First Nations-led gallery and cultural enterprise being established on Wiradjuri Country, Albury. Formerly Burraja Gallery operated by Murray Arts, the Project Officer position will play a pivotal role in transitioning the gallery to an independent and sustainable First Nations-led model. Blak Circle aims to support First Nations artists, celebrate culture, and create economic opportunities for First Nations creatives across the Murray NSW and North East Victoria region.

Working closely with the Board of Directors, artists, Elders, and key stakeholders, the Project Officer will oversee the implementation of new systems and procedures, coordinate exhibitions and events, manage brand and audience development, and support the sale of artworks and merchandise both in-gallery and online.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in small business, arts management, community development, or not-for-profit operations who is passionate about supporting First Nations artists and cultural enterprises.
