- Permanent Full Time Position, 35 hours per week
- Located in Rockdale, close to public transport
- $99,364 – $111,288 per annum plus superannuation
Bayside Council is seeking a passionate and experienced Arts and Culture Specialist to play a key role in shaping and delivering a vibrant cultural landscape across the Bayside community.

About the role
In this role, you will lead initiatives that strengthen and grow Bayside Council arts and cultural programs. You’ll be instrumental in expanding the Council’s mural and public art program, while fostering strong relationships with artists, community groups, and stakeholders.
You can also expect to:
- Drive the development and delivery of arts and cultural initiatives across Bayside
- Expand and support the Council’s mural and public art program
- Plan and facilitate workshops, forums, and community engagement activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, partners, and local organisations
- Work independently to deliver projects while aligning with broader strategic outcomes
About you
You are a creative and driven arts professional with:
- Demonstrated experience in arts and cultural program delivery
- A passion for community engagement and making a positive difference
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships
- Experience in coordinating workshops, forums, and public programs
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to team outcomes
