Ballina District Museum

Located in the village of Pimlico, the museum was originally the heritage listed Pimlico Community Hall built in 1937.

The museum showcases the history of the development of the Ballina District from pre-1842 when only the Nyangbul people lived in the area, to European settlement commencing in 1842 and subsequent industries including cedar cutting, shipping and sugar cane production.
