Profile
I have worked in the museums sector for 19 years in a variety of roles including curatorial and collections management. As Museums Officer with MGnsw for 6 years, I developed a strong knowledge of the sector and connections across the regional and community museum of NSW. I am currently Museum Adviser to a group of community museums on the south coast of NSW, advising on all aspects of museum operations including curatorship, collections management, significance, exhibition development/interpretation, audience development, volunteer management, storage and collections care, grant writing and so on.
I have a great passion for museums and believe in working in a collaborative way to share our community stories.
To ensure their futures, museums should rethink who they are and what they do to connect with potential audiences and remain a living institution.
I hold a BA Visual Arts(Textiles), a Master of Art Administration and a Master of Teaching.
