Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre invites artists to submit works made principally with paper for the Hazelhurst Art on Paper Award 2015.

Now in its eighth biennial year, the award aims to promote excellence and innovation in the field of Art on Paper with prize monies totalling $26,000. Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Arts Centre, in partnership with Tradies, sponsors the major prize of $15,000.

There is also a Young and Emerging Artist’s Award and the Friends of Hazelhurst Local Artist Prize, each $5000. Plus a People’s Choice Award of $1000.

The award is open to original works on/or made principally with paper – 2D or 3D. Acceptable disciplines include: drawing, painting, watercolours, collage, original prints, computer generated, photography, paper sculpture and installation. There are no size restrictions.

A selection panel will view all visuals and select the exhibition from all entries received. Finalists will be on show at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery from the 30 May to 26 July 2015.
