Curator – Contemporary Visual Art (Maternity Leave)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated curator to lead the delivery of its Contemporary Visual Arts program during a pivotal period in the organisation’s history.

This 12-month maternity leave opportunity offers the chance to shape and deliver an ambitious exhibition and public program while supporting the transition of Campbelltown Arts Centre’s visual arts operations from its current home into a temporary exhibition and programming space on Queen Street, Campbelltown. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining the Centre’s reputation as one of Australia’s leading contemporary arts organisations while helping reimagine how visual arts can be presented and experienced during this exciting period of transformation.

Reporting to the Head of Curatorial, the Curator – Contemporary Visual Art will work closely with artists, curators, creative practitioners, community members, partners and colleagues to develop and deliver exhibitions, commissions, initiatives and contribute to complimentary programs that amplify artists’ and community voices.
