This seminar is for heritage professionals in New Zealand and Australia considering or planning a collections storage move, whether within a building, between sites or to an external facility.
Case studies will introduce different approaches to collections storage and the decisions involved. Topics will include the suitability of the proposed space, preparation, costs, staffing, access and responsibilities for ongoing care. We will also consider the purpose and scope of a feasibility assessment, with time for questions and discussion.

Priority will be given to applicants actively considering or planning a move.
