I am a published author, curator and heritage specialist with over 20 years experience in the cultural and heritage sector.
I was formerly Curator of Sydney Region for NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, Curator of Commercial History at the Australian National Maritime Museum, Heritage Curator at the Migration Heritage Centre NSW, guest curator at the Whitlam Institute and Heritage Principal at Parramatta Park.
I have extensive experience in providing conservation management plans, interpretation plans and disaster preparedness plans, preventative conservation management plans and strategies, interpretation plans, collections management and digitisation including Vernon Collection and eHive and the day to day maintenance of rural and urban museum buildings and heritage settings.
I have extensive experience in advising regional museums on traditional and online interpretation, including publications, exhibitions, mobile device apps, traditional and mobile enabled websites and media, marketing & cultural tourism strategies.
I have curated and project managed many exhibitions at NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, the Australian National Maritime Museum, the Migration Heritage Centre NSW and the Whitlam Institute.
I have published many booklets, essays and web exhibitions on Australian history and heritage.
I was educated at East Sydney Technical College, the University of NSW and the University of Sydney University.
