Warren Museum and Art Gallery
Housed in an immaculately restored heritage building on the main street of Warren township, the Warren Museum and Art Gallery is well worth a visit when in the Warren Shire.
The over-arching theme is the Wammerawa-Wambuul-lower Macquarie River, lifeblood of this rural area. Objects, art, audio visual presentations and interactive displays provide insights into the Warren district, its First Nations people, Europeans and other migrant groups as well as the shire’s rural industries. For art lovers, the gallery hosts regularly changing exhibitions, most often showcasing the work of local and regional artists.
Opened in March 2023, the Warren Museum and Art Gallery is run entirely by volunteers and is self-funding.
