Bowral Art Gallery, nestled in a quiet street a short walk from Bowral’s thriving cafe scene is a place where you will discover a miriad of wonders.

As an innovative contemporary art space we offer weekly or fortnightly exhibition opportunities to emerging and established artisans.

The Gallery is incorporated under the Bowral & District Art Society, which has grown from small beginnings to become a thriving centre for the arts. Its charter is “to encourage in the Southern Highlands practice in, and appreciation of, the arts of painting, drawing and sculpture, and arts allied thereto”.

Along with a lively exhibition calendar, the property also houses purpose built working studios with professionally tutored day and evening classes supporting all genres of artmaking including painting, drawing and print-making.
