Lake Cargelligo & District Historical Society & Museum
The Lake Cargelligo Museum is a keeping place for History & Memorabilia of the town and district. The main hall of the Museum was the old Curlew Hall, which was originally located 16km from the town, where dances and all types of functions were held. The museum was established in 1967 and hall was moved into position and established as the main building of the museum in 1971
We have an extensive collection of local history.
We have a large collection of memorabilia including household items, farming equipment and implements, tractors, stationary motors, horse drawn carriages and farm equipment and many, many more items.
Disabled access to museum and disabled toilets available.
Lake Cargelligo is a small rural community built around a beautiful inland lake that supports water sports, bird watching and fishing.
