Narrandera Parkside Cottage Museum

Housed in a century-old building, the Parkside Cottage Museum was established in 1968.

The collection is varied with several unique items including; a yesteryear Telecom equipment display, a set of silver ingots marking 1,000 years of English monarchy, and an extensive and valuable worldwide collection of shells.

One of the most celebrated items on display is the scarlet coloured merino cloak – the only one of its kind in the world – was made from the first bale of wool sent to England by the Macarthur family in 1816.

If you are passing through, or new to the area, drop by – you’ll enjoy the building and our collection!

There are currently no renovations and the Museum is open to receive guests.
