Curator

The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum and Gallery is looking for an energetic, multi-disciplinary Curator with strong communication skills to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with museum and gallery sector experience who is excited to shape exhibition programs within a vibrant regional museum and who is looking to develop their career. [This is a permanent position or can be taken as a two year contract.]

The Curator will work with the team to develop an annual exhibitions program to attract and engage visitors in our collections and other exhibition projects. As both a museum and gallery, this is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse range of subject matter from First Nations, maritime, science, technology, design and art using contemporary communication and display strategies.
