Bondi Festival Marketing Lead
Waverley council is seeking and experienced and visionary Bondi Festival Marketing Lead to drive the strategic direction and delivery of Bondi Festival – a contemporary art festival held at Australia’s most iconic coastal destination, Bondi Beach.

$90,651 – $104,249.14 a. plus 12% Super
Temporary full-time opportunity ( April – August 2026)
Work hours – Monday to Friday & weekend work during the festival will be required

About the role
This role is responsible for leading and developing the festival’s overall strategy, including marketing and audience development initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, promotion and delivery of the festival
Skills & Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 5 years professional experience in marketing and communications in a high-profile arts and cultural context or similar environment, including demonstrated, recent and hands-on experience across the full spectrum of marketing/communications requirements.
High level oral and written communication skills with outstanding attention to detail, including experience writing and editing copy and in developing reports, plans, schedules and budgets.
Ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and as a member of a team.
Current professional networks across a range of business areas, including suppliers, media and arts sector contacts
