107 Projects

107 Projects is an artist led multidisciplinary creative, cultural and community organisation that operates spaces in Redfern and Green Square.

Since opening in September 2012, 107 Redfern Street has welcomed over 200,000 visitors, and provided a platform for more than 25,000 artists to present visual exhibitions, as well as live music, theatre, film, performance, and creative and community focussed workshops. The venue also provides affordable and flexible artist studio and office spaces, community and corporate event spaces, co-working spaces, and a rooftop permaculture garden.

Launched in 2018, Joynton Avenue Creative Centre houses over 25 artists, creative practitioners, organisations and start-ups, as well as supporting creative education programs, workshops, exhibitions and cultural events. Set in the refurbished nurses’ quarters of South Sydney Hospital, the 2020 Creative Program offers printmaking and filmmaking workshops, school holiday robotics and coding for kids, and fortnightly creative hangouts, as well as social nights featuring live jazz on the last Friday of every month.

107 strives to engage a broad cross section of its communities in creative practice by local, national and international artists. It brings audiences and artists together in accessible and inclusive social spaces to participate in the creation, presentation and sharing of artistic works and ideas.
