Volunteer Museum Grants are open

Skills Development - Port Macquarie Care and handling of photographs workshop 'To have and to hold’

Volunteers participate in a Care and Handling of Photographs workshop at Port Macquarie Museum, funded by a Skills Development Grant.

M&G NSW is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for three grants from the Volunteer Museum Grant Program. These grants provide assistance to volunteer community museums and Aboriginal Keeping Places in NSW.

Funded by the NSW Government through Arts NSW and administrated by Museums & Galleries of NSW, the program is designed to provide access to funding, in addition to providing experience in the grant application process.

SMALL GRANTS

Up to $2,000 for short-term, collection-based projects.
There are no set categories for funding and applications for a broad range of projects will be considered.

Museums & Galleries of NSW helps small-medium museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres create exciting experiences for visitors and, through this, thriving local NSW communities. We don't run museums, galleries and cultural centres but we care about those who do. We develop their skills, connect them with others in the industry, provide funding, point visitors their way, and give them access to ground-breaking exhibitions.

Museums & Galleries of NSW is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.

Museums & Galleries of NSW
(M&G NSW) provides programs and services improving the visitor experience in small to medium museums, galleries and Aboriginal cultural centres across NSW.
