Interview – Vivien Clyne, Director, Moree Plains Gallery

Another in our series of interviews with regional and public gallery directors. We recently sat down with Vivien Clyne the director at Moree Plains Gallery, amongst the insects at the Regional & Public Galleries Conference.

Vivien Clyne graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Arts (Art History and French) before completing a Master of Art Curatorship at the University of Melbourne. She spent two years at the National Gallery of Victoria interning with the curator of South and South East Asian Art. She also worked at QAGOMA and the Queensland Maritime Museum and before being appointed as curatorial assistant at UQ Art Museum. Vivien then ventured south again, where she worked at Tamworth Regional Gallery before joining Moree Plains Gallery as Director in 2014.
