Curatorial Support Initiative grants still open

Submissions are still open for Arts NSW’s  Curatorial Support Initiative (CSI) administered by Museums & Galleries of NSW.

Over the past two years, the CSI program has supported the development of more than nine exhibitions, with three more currently underway. Available to regional public galleries in NSW, the CSI grant offers funding assistance towards engaging a professional curator–emerging or established–to research and develop a new exhibition of contemporary visual arts, craft and design for their community.

Take a look at two very different CSI funded projects below where an artist and an academic made their curatorial debuts tapping into the skills, knowledge and passions of their local communities.

The CSI program is seeking submissions from galleries for projects in 2015.
