We are currently seeking Specialist Librarian/Archivists to work across the Library and Information Services Division. This is a unique opportunity to join our team!
Opportunities are currently available in the following branches.
Collection Strategy and Development. This branch is responsible for developing and shaping the State Library’s collections across all material types, in accordance with the Library’s collection development policy and other related policies.
Collection Access and Description is responsible for processing a wide range of published and unpublished materials in the State Library collection in order to make items accessible for clients.
Data Quality Systems & Standards is an enabling unit which supports the operational activities of the Division. Considering externally driven standards, they are responsible for developing and setting standards, policies and procedures for the Library. This unit is also the business owner responsible for the implementation of standards and intelligent systems to support automation of processes. This team also assists with training and support.
