Service Leader Museum & Gallery

Reporting to the Team Leader Cultural Services, the Service Leader Museum & Gallery will lead the Museum and Gallery Team responsible for providing arts, cultural, and lifelong learning opportunities for Coffs Harbour Local government area residents and visitors through its Regional Museum and Regional Gallery venues.

It is an exciting time to join the team with the future Yarilla Arts and Museum currently in development. This role will drive a collaborative team culture, along with coordinating their team’s activities, and leading change and improvement opportunities across their functional areas.

What do you need?

We are looking for a highly capable professional with well-developed leadership skills that result in high-level team performance.

You will have sound capabilities in the development of processes and systems within an operating environment related to museums and/or galleries. Additionally, you will have the ability to critically assess situations, resolve problems, collaborate with others, and work within deadlines and changes in work priorities.

If you hold post graduate qualifications in Museum, Cultural Heritage, History, Visual or Fine Arts or related field coupled with the above, then we want to hear from you!
