Senior Advisor, Collection Digitisation
This role will develop, implement and oversee the Collection digitisation plan and projects to provide optimal accessibility for the public and preservation of the State Archives Collection and Sydney Living Museums Collections.
What the essential requirements of the role are:
- At least 5 years’ experience in collections digitisation, management, valuation and/or similar filed and a substantial experience working in archival/cultural institutions.
- Tertiary qualifications in cultural heritage management, especially in collection care, management and conservation.
- Substantial knowledge of and experience interpreting standards, practices and theories relating to collections and digitisation services.
- Willingness to work across SARA/SLM sites and ability to travel to multiple locations.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or contraindication certificate.
