A Museum of Fire Retail Sales Assistant will assist in day-to-day Museum operations, specifically but not limited to the running of the Museum (e.g. ensuring displays are operational), shop sales and assisting visitors. They should provide a high quality of customer service to assist in the Museum’s growth and development.

Position Type: Casual; 2-3 Shifts per fortnight (including weekends)

About the Organisation:
The Museum of Fire is a registered, not-for-profit charity in Penrith, NSW. The Museum’s collection is of national importance as it celebrates the heroic history of Fire and Rescue NSW and fire services in Australia. The Museum is a fun and interactive environment where children and adults of all ages can participate in firefighting adventures and learn life skills as they experience what it is like to don the uniform and put their life on the line to save others. Many of the items from the Museum’s extensive heritage collection are listed on the State Heritage Register and it is the responsibility of the Museum to ensure their preservation and security. Museum Hours: 9:30am – 4:30pm, Office Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm.
